About
The 2nd International Conference on Web Intelligence, Mining and Semantics (WIMS'12) is organised under the auspices of University of Craiova. The site for the previous edition, WIMS'11, can be found here.
This is the second in a new series of conferences concerned with intelligent approaches to transform the World Wide Web into a global reasoning and semantics-driven computing machine. Then next conference in this series, WIMS'13 will take place in Madrid (Spain).

Publication
Accepted papers/tutorials/posters/workshop-papers will be published by ACM and disseminated through the ACM Digital Library.
Selected extended papers and extended abstracts will be invited to appear in a special issues of reputed journals in the field and also in a book published by Elsevier.
How to submit
The maximum length of
- research papers (including workshop papers) is at most 12 pages in ACM format
- tutorial papers is between 5 to 12 pages in ACM format
- poster (short) paper is at most 5 pages in ACM format
- news-abstract is at most 2 pages in ACM format
Please note that the submission format is MS Word or PDF. The papers must be written in English and formatted according to the ACM guidelines. Author instructions and style files can be downloaded at

Authors of accepted works are expected to attend the conference and present their work. Selected extended papers will be invited to appear in a special issues of reputed journals in the field.
Poster papers and full research paper submissions must be made electronically in MS Word or PDF format through the EasyChair submission system at
